Refund Policy

At Koliving Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (‘Koliving’, ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’), we strive to provide a transparent and fair refund process for all our residents and customers. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and deposit adjustments are handled for our PG and co-living accommodations booked through koliving.in or any associated platform.

I. Booking & Confirmation

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive the security deposit and/or first month’s rent.
  • Once confirmed, the accommodation is reserved exclusively for the tenant for the agreed check-in date.

II. Cancellation Before Move-In

If you wish to cancel your booking before your check-in date:

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of payment – Full refund of the booking amount (after applicable transaction charges).
  • Cancellation after 24 hours but before move-in date – 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation within 3 days of move-in date – No refund will be issued.

All refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days after approval.

III. Refund After Move-In

Once you have checked in, the monthly rent paid is non-refundable, even if you choose to vacate early.
However, the security deposit is refundable, subject to the following deductions:

  • Pending rent or unpaid bills (electricity, maintenance, etc.)
  • Damages to property or loss of items
  • Breach of notice period (if applicable)

The final inspection will be done within 5 days of move-out, and the security deposit (after adjustments) will be refunded within 10–15 working days.

IV. Refund Mode & Timeline

  • Refunds are processed only to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, or card).
  • It may take 7–15 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

V. No-Show Policy

If a confirmed resident does not check in on the agreed date without prior notice, the booking amount and security deposit (if paid) will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

VI. Service Fee / Platform Charges

Any convenience or platform fees charged during online payment are non-refundable.

VII. Exceptional Circumstances

In special cases such as unforeseen medical emergencies, government restrictions, or force majeure events, Koliving may offer partial or full refunds at its discretion. Appropriate documentation may be requested.
